I'm dealing with only 90% of my colon and 5 feet of intestine left while trying to maintain a cheery face/attitude on a everyday basis. Which, I've decided, on most days, I do. At the beginning of my new life I did not realize how grateful I would become for the opportunity to continue living and will see what the Creator has in store for me. * *BTW: shitz* - Just another way of saying crap, (noun), and is used to express anger or frustration or confusion or excitement etc... Read this this morning... Am not a fan of tiny spiders let alone one this huge ! !
Scientists have found an enormous, previously unknown, species of venomous spider in a remote Sri Lankan village.
The newly-found spider (Pics: British Tarantula Society/ Ranil Nanayakkara) The giant tarantula is as big as a human face. Its legs, which have unique daffodil-yellow markings, span a massive 20cm (eight inches). The arachnid also has a distinctive pink band around its body. The new species was found in the war-torn north of the South Asian country by scientists from Sri Lanka's Biodiversity Education and Research (BER) organisation. It has been named Poecilotheria rajaei, in recognition of a senior police officer called Michael Rajakumar Purajah who guided the research team through a hazardous jungle overrun by civil unrest in order to seek out the spider. The spider is said to prefer living on old trees The arachnid had originally been presented to BER three years ago by villagers in Mankulam who had killed a male specimen. Scientists immediately realised the dead spider was not like anything they already knew and a group was charged with finding any living relatives. The living Poecilotheria rajaei were eventually discovered in the former doctor's quarters of the village's hospital. According to wired.com, Ranil Nanayakkara, the co-founder of BER, said: "They are quite rare. The tarantula is characterised by its yellow legs and pink band "They prefer well-established old trees, but due to deforestation the number have dwindled and due to lack of suitable habitat they enter old buildings." The website described the tarantula as "colourful, fast and venomous". The species is said to be related to a class of South American tarantula that includes the Goliath bird-eater, one of the world's largest spiders. In other reports Mr Nanayakkara is quoted as saying none of the tarantulas found in Sri Lanka have bites that are deadly to humans. However, the Poecilotheria rajaei would be able to kill animals as large as mice, lizards and small birds and snakes. A male member of the Poecilotheria rajaei species Peter Kirk, who covered the discovery for the British Tarantula Society's journal, told Sky News: "Ranil has been working on these spiders since 2009 out in Sri Lanka and this is the first of what is thought to be a number of new species he has discovered in what was previously the inaccessible northern region of the island. "It demonstrates that wildlife continues to survive whilst we are in the throes of conflict and that they can adapt to its changing environment - but also highlights that we risk destroying the habitats of species new to science and condemning them to extinction before they are even discovered."
OMG - Look what the frikken democrats in California are trying to do now. Makes me want to vomit - absolutely disgusting. How can ANYONE defend Pedophiles and at what point does "live and let live" just stop.. From the FaceBook page:
Seriously go and figure these out! Maybe I'm doing this to just make me feel better 'cause I'm grumpy? I guess that would be, in itself, is another form of evil. Just thought about it again - what is evil? How about this? Does it capture it?

Summary of what
happened but be sure to read the whole story
On April 27, a Lexington, MA, parent, David Parker, was arrested by the
Lexington police and charged with "trespassing" at his son’s elementary school
during a scheduled meeting with the principal and the town’s Director of
Education over his objections to homosexual curriculum materials. Parker had
asked for notification and possible opt-out for his son for homosexual
curriculum or
ad-hoc discussions by adults in his son’s kindergarten class. After several
months of communication, he was repeatedly told that his requests are "not possible."
He finally said he would not leave the meeting until this was resolved. After being arrested and spending the night in jail, Parker was arraigned on
Thursday, April 28, in Concord District Court. When he informed Judge Robert
McKenna that he had not been allowed to call his lawyer, the judge scolded him
for not being respectful. Parker was released on $1,000 surety bond. He was officially informed that he may not set foot on
any school property in Lexington, or he will be arrested again for trespassing.
A hearing was set for June 1, followed by court appearances on Aug. 2 and Sept.
19. New superintendent is no different. During the summer, Dr. Paul Ash
took over as superintendent of Lexington Schools from William Hurley, who was
serving in an interim capacity. On Sept. 22, Ash announced he was ordering
teachers to give NO notice when discussing homosexual relationships with
children, even in elementary grades. (see report below). Ash also continues to
enforce the no-trespass order against Parker. At the Sept. 19 court appearance,
Judge McKenna gave Ash an extra 30 days to decide whether to lift the ban, after
Ash had complained he hadn't had enought time. Statement by David Parker (April 27, 2005):
“I, David Parker, am the father of a
kindergarten student at Estabrook Elementary School in Lexington,
Massachusetts. Since the beginning of this school year, my wife and
I have learned that school materials and discussions about gay-headed
households/same-sex union issues have been exposed to the
children. There are definitive plans to increase the
teacher/staff/adult mediated discussions of these subjects.
“We have officially stated on many
occasions—to the Lexington school administration—a request that we
be notified when these discussions are planned, and want our 6-year-old
opted out of such situations when arising “spontaneously”.
“Our parental requests for our own child
were flat-out denied with no effort at accommodation. In our meeting
on April 27, I, insisted that such accommodation be made and refused
to leave the meeting room. I was informed that I would be arrested.”
Events leading up to the arrest
Timeline of events and email exchange
between Parkers and principal.
Extremely enlightening. This is the timeline of events starting in January and
leading up to the final meeting and arrest on April 27, 2005. Original book brought
home by kindergarten class.
Here's the book, "Who's in a Family," that started it all. It came home with the
Parker's kindergarten-age son in January. (Also, some of the books
given out in other grades.) Parkers attend elementary school's "Anti-Bias Committee"
meetings.
Here's what the Parkers witnessed (and were told) -- a real eye-opener. In
Massachusetts (and other places) much of a school's radical agenda gets in
under the radar through these semi-official committes of radical teachers,
administrators, and some parents, which operate outside of any formal oversight. Other family in David Parker's elementary school
leaves town over homosexual agenda in school.
David Parker is an unusual -- very special -- man, in that he was willing to
stand up and fight for his rights. Unfortunately, too many parents feel so
overwhelmed and or intimidated that they see their only option is to leave. (And
this is exactly what the so-called "diversity" crowd likes to see happen!) The night before arrest: Parker addresses the Lexington School Committee with his concerns,
gets ignored.
The night before the final meeting (and arrest) David Parker spoke passionately
before the School Committee about his situation. And they rudely ignored him.
They wouldn't even give him the courtesy of a reply.
The arrest and court appearance
including meeting & negotiation with
school officials
Evil exists in this world and it exists in many shapes and forms and I know that even feeling/thinking this way will get me chastised and severely beat up by progressives/left/democrats. I believe this is one of the reasons the roman empire fell apart. But hey, what do I know.
Few people, for sure some might just because they can..... athiests? democrats? who?, will disagree that human beings are born with a sense of right from wrong. sense of right and wrong - motivation deriving logically from ethical or moral principles that govern a person's thoughts and actions. Unless to preserve ones life, we know it is wrong to kill another human being. Right? or Wrong?
Read the below. I believe this is wrong and typifies the moral degradation of America. It confounds me that human beings are able to rationalize this type of behaviorism. http://washingtonexaminer.com/in-shift-medicare-would-pay-for-sex-change-operations/article/2525782 For the first time since 1981, when it dubbed sex-change operations "experimental," Medicare has opened the door to covering transexual operations, adding to the growing list of operations that would be allowed under Obamacare. Acting on a new request, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services said it is starting a new analysis that could lift the spending ban for sex-change operations with a goal of making a decision two days after Christmas and on the eve of Obamacare kicking in Jan. 1. A 30-day public comment period just opened on the proposed "National Coverage Determination." "Surgical Treatment for Gender Identity Disorder, formerly referred to as transsexual surgery in 140.3, is currently noncovered under the Medicare Part A and Part B programs. The existing policy, which became effective in 1981, states that transsexual surgery is considered experimental," said the notice just posted on the CMS.gov site. "Please note that we are making an administrative change to the NCD title under this reconsideration to reflect current medical terminology. The new title for Section 140.3 will be Surgical Treatment for Gender Identity Disorder," it adds. The National Center for Transgender Equality is among those pushing for the changes. In supporting letters to CMS, one of the proponents claims that the experimental status of sex-change operations has long passed and that studies confirm it works. "These medical procedures and treatment protocols are not experimental: decades of both clinical experience and medical research show they are essential to achieving well-being for the transsexual patient," said the letter. A second letter called the federal policy discriminatory, and added that failure to get the operation by those who needed can cause death. "The net effect is a failure to treat a treatable disorder which in many cases leads to death. The discrimination (is) clearly un-American," added the letter.
As probably 95% of the world knows it, today is considered "Good Friday". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Good_Friday In honor of that I am going to confess something...something not so big but just the same here goes. I love my Kindle. It was bought soon after I came out of the hospital and it did not take long for me begin my love affair with it. Based on that, the use of the Kindle, I became a member of ""BookBub"". See www.bookbub.com/ I can't stop myself from getting free books, I just can't and now have over 125 books waiting to be read. Don't go there, never ever go to bookbub never - I repeat - never ever ....
Just an odd occurrence but I have gained a couple of pounds the last few days. This AM I was a tad over 157 lbs. Blood pressure this morning is 105 over 54 with a pulse of 62. strange it is - strange I say.
NEW CASTLE, Pa. (UPI) -- A team of paranormal investigators from Ohio
said they have detected signs of ghosts at a former mental institution
in Pennsylvania.
The Cleveland Paranormal Research Society said they heard unexplained
whistling and screaming and found other signs of ghosts including
shadows and a moving necklace during their March 16 visit to Hill View
Manor in New Castle, WEWS-TV, Cleveland, reported Tuesday.
The facility was built in 1926 to house mentally ill and elderly
patients. It was closed for financial reasons in 2004.
The investigators said they also captured photos of mysterious
"floating mist" inside the building.
SCOTTDALE, Pa. (UPI) -- The caretaker of a Pennsylvania mansion is
accused of drinking 52 bottles of whiskey appraised at a total
$102,400.
Patricia Hill, who purchased the Scottdale mansion in 2012, said
caretaker John Saunders, 62, helped her remove and dust off nine cases
of Old Farm Pure Rye Whiskey that were apparently concealed in the
walls of the home by industrialist J.P. Brennan, the Pittsburgh
Tribune-Review reported Monday.
"My guess is that Mr. Brennan ordered 10 cases ... pre-Prohibition,"
Hill said. I was told by his family that family members used to greet
him at the door each day with a shot of whiskey.
Hill said she discovered after Saunders moved out that he had
apparently drank 52 of the 108 bottles of the whiskey, which was
bottled in 1912 at the West Overton Distilling Co. She said the
missing booze was appraised at a total $102,400 by New York auction
house Bonhams.
"This whole experience has shocked me," Hill said. I was shocked when
I found them, shocked to find Mr. Saunders drank them, and shocked
when I received the appraisal. I had just planned to preserve them.
Saunders was arrested and is now charged with receiving stolen
property and theft. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing
Wednesday.
Yesterday was a REALLY bad day at least on the emotional level. Just was in a bad mood, not sure why but was. Been dealing with trying to remove the Google Updater.exe and cleaned my registry of all references to it. BUT somehow I also removed the vol info for my back up drive "D" and it would only show up for a little bit then disappear. Long story short. Fixed it. Today does not seem to be any better. Oh well maybe I'm just suffering from too much cold weather and not enough warm sunshine ! ! !
CHESAPEAKE, Va. (UPI) -- A Virginia funeral parlor faces a lawsuit for allegedly putting the body of the wrong man in the casket for a funeral.
The family of James "Jim" Wagner III is suing the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home over the alleged mix up, The (Norfolk) Virginian-Pilot reported Sunday.
The lawsuit alleges Wagner's widow, Candace, went to the funeral home April 12, 2012, the day after her husband died, and paid $6,592.25, to have her husband's body prepared for an open-casket funeral. Two days later, she dropped off clothing for him to wear the day of the funeral, the lawsuit said.
Then, when friends and family arrived for the funeral, they found the wrong man in the casket -- but the body was dressed in the clothes Candace Wagner dropped off.
It was discovered that the funeral home accidentally transported James Wagner to another one of its locations. The funeral service had to be postponed for 2 hours.
After the service, Nathan Wagner attended his father's cremation "simply to ensure that the correct body was properly serviced and cremated," the lawsuit said.
The lawsuit alleges Candace Wagner experiences "nightmares, panic attacks and flashbacks of seeing another man in her husband's casket and clothing."
Nathan and Candace Wagner have each filed a lawsuit against Hollomon-Brown, both seeking $850,000 in damages.

I will do some more talking about the last few posts/ramblings of what I consider the evilness of today's world later. I wanted to take this opportunity this early in the AM to tell the world I HAD A NORMAL BOWEL MOVEMENT THIS MORNING ! ! ! Only another Short bowel person can really appreciate the beauty of this happening ! ! ! ! ! ! ! And, yes, I know that tomorrow morning it will go back to being primarily colored water but Oh how does it make me feel NORMAL for a little bit.
Woke up (7AM) this morning really sick forgot that the bucket was next to my bed and ran to the bathroom, luckily I did not have anything bad happen. Now on my 2nd cup of coffee and am settling down a little bit. Wonder what brought this on?
I can't quite grasp why everything is starting to irritate me. I am finding (and yeah I know it is not new) that there is more bad in this world than good. I just cannot believe some of the rotten things that people do to each other day in and day out and/or how society is changing .....
Wonder what mine will be like? Hmmmm. Maybe I ought to start writing it now.
Humorous obituary goes viralLONG BEACH, Miss. (UPI) -- A Mississippi man's obituary, written by
his daughter, has gone viral online for its unusual content and
good-natured humor.
"Harry Weathersby Stamps, ladies' man, foodie, natty dresser, and
accomplished traveler, died on Saturday, March 9, 2013," began the
obituary in Monday's Sun Herald, Gulfport, Miss.
The obituary for the Long Beach man, who died at age 80 after years as
a dialysis patient, was written by his daughter, Amanda Lewis.
"He despised phonies, his 1969 Volvo [which he also loved],
know-it-all Yankees, Southerners who used the words 'veranda' and
'porte cochere' to put on airs, eating grape leaves, Law and Order
[all franchises], cats, and Martha Stewart. In reverse order. He
particularly hated Daylight Saving Time, which he referred to as 'The
Devil's Time.' It is not lost on his family that he died the very day
that he would have had to spring his clock forward. This can only be
viewed as his final protest," the obituary read.
Lewis said she was pleased with the reception the obituary has
received online.
"Probably the best compliment I've gotten is that at least six people
asked if he wrote it," she said.
"The family asks that in honor of Harry that you write your
Congressman and ask for the repeal of Daylight Saving Time. Harry
wanted everyone to get back on the Lord's Time," the obituary
concluded. Copyright 2013 by United Press International
I cannot recall the last time I have been so frustrated with the installation of a program. Seriously! ! I bought Fix-It Utilities at Sam's Club because I had owned previous versions of the software and thought highly of it.
This version is # 12.0.32.24 and I'm so sorry I bought it. I certainly cannot take it back to Sam's Club, nor do I feel like sending it back the the parent company, Avanquest. Although it does do a fine job of cleaning up the registry there are freeware programs that do that job and are maybe a little better at it.
I have installed, un-installed, and re-installed the product around 30 times. This to include hand scrubbing the registry of all remnants of the program. Super time consuming and still do not have an anti-virus portion running
The latest fiasco was I left information, pictures of the problem, on the VCOM website. They responded and said to download another program and install it. I thought cool ! ! Just had to go to here: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/24659340/ReleasedBuilds/14.3/FI_PRO_14.3.32.2_ENU.exe download it and I will then have working version # 14.3.32.4 BUT when I went to install it I had this error happen
When I say OK it continues to install but does not install the Anti-Malware (anti-virus) portion of the program. Then after the program is installed and you try to install the frikken updates you get this error:
So far I have not had any response from the technical/help desk folks.
I am within 24 hours of saying the heck with it. The program only cost $40.00 but I have spent approximately 24 hours of my time dealing with it and even at minimum wage ($7.50 an hour) that would come to around $180. bucks. Not to bright on my part is it?
Enough.
AND check this out ! !
I was on hold for 45 minutes while waiting to tell them I had direct access to their server. I literally could have downloaded all of their programs and it would have been a piece of cake to bust 'em. I didn't even get a thank you well I did see below. Here is the email I received from them after I sent a recording of what I had done and what was wrong on their part. Again . . . enough.....................

I don't have any doctor's appointments this week! WHHHOOOOO HHHOOOO
But I am going to the Social Security office. Need to ask some questions about money and Medicare.. Ugh.
()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()
Seriously! It is Friday and I can't believe that the week has just disappeared. Why is "time" just flitting by? Yeah, I know my life is F'd up but I don't work except for stuff around the house so how does time just disappear so quickly?
Segue way into: I boughta new software program (from Sam's Club) called Fix-It Utilities Pro. Since I had used previous versions and had been well pleased with how it worked I bought the newest version which worked with Windows 7. So I realize that the time I spent dealing with the installation makes time just slip away.
I went to install it and then the nightmare began. I must have installed, re-installed, scrubbed the registry between 20 and 30 times. Spent days on it. If my time is worth x amount of dollars per hour ........ well the product cost $40.00 and I spent $5,000.00 installing it. Me be just plain stupid.
The problem arose when the system wants to upgrade the product from version 12.0.32.22 to the latest/newest version of 14.3.32.22. Then everything just disappears with the exception of keys in the registry. I can feel my chest getting tight just writing this little bit about it. Needless to say I am not upgrading the product because it works for what I want it to at the current level.
Today is gonna be a good day because I get to go out. I have to go to the Coumadin doc to test for warfarin levels Then I need to go to WalMart to pick up a prescription.
Yesterday was absolutely freaking beautiful, today is gonna be nice but tomorrow might bring rain and snow in the higher elevations. Higher elevations? Heck I'm at 5500 feet...
Yesterday was 70 degrees so I potted around in the garage and FINALLY put the Xmas lights back in the boxes and into the cabinet. Inventoried stuff and tried to figure out what I need to get the yard looking kinda nice.
Started the bike up and left it run for a little bit. EVERY time I do that I think I just might say the hell with everyone and try and start riding again. I just can't seem to bring myself to sell it! Once I almost traded it for a C-5 Yellow Corvette but the guys wife lit into him pretty bad. I guess he has several other Harleys' and she put her foot down? Oh well.
You have to read this article, 2 years this guy spent in solitary confinement here in New Mexiko. Incredible.
Once again it is time for the weight stats.. so here goes. You, well maybe not you but I, can tell by the rise and fall of the weight where my bad days are. (Too long of a sentence or run on?) Too bad..Positive note is the weight increase for the 90 day period. 3.6 pounds does not sound like much but it helps fill out my flabby ass. Which by now one would know is the result of all that rapid weight loss which occurred on 7/10/2010 07:35 PM. It is now Friday 3/1/2013 at 10:13:49 AM so it has been:
2 years 7 months 21 days,
14 hours 38 minutes 49 seconds or 137 weekends or 965 days or 23,150 hours (15,433 waking hours) or 1,389,038 minutes or 83,342,329 seconds
OAK BROOK, Ill. (UPI) -- An Illinois Tooth Fairy poll spokesman said
the increased amount given children for lost baby teeth augurs good
news for the U.S. economy.
The Original Tooth Fairy poll revealed the average Tooth Fairy gift
went up from $2.10 in 2011 to $2.42 in 2012, a 15.2 percent gain,
Delta Dental in Oak Brook, Ill., reported.
The Original Tooth Fairy Poll showed trends in Tooth Fairy gifts has
tracked the Standard & Poor's 500 index in nine of the last 10 years.
In 2012, the TF's gain of 15.2 percent was similar to the S&P gain of
13.4 percent.
"As the leaders of the dental benefits industry, we look at all kinds
of economic indicators. I'm happy to say that the Tooth Fairy
delivered encouraging news about the country's economic recovery in
2012," said Delta Dental Plans Association's spokesman, Bill Hupp.
The survey, which contacted more than 1.200 parents nationwide,
indicated the Tooth Fairy rewarded first-time tooth losers even more
generously, leaving an average of $3.49.
In 98 percent of the homes the Tooth Fairy visited, cash was left for
consolation for the first loss. The remaining 2 percent got toys,
candy, gum or other gifts.
